Buzzcast #63 / Hugh McLeod / Gapingvoid.com
An interview took place in Berlin on the 13th of October 2007, with Hugh McLeod, cartoonist and blogger (Gapingvoid.com) specialized in web 2.0 and marketing.
The interview was conducted by Gregory Pouy on behalf of Vanksen|Culture-Buzz during a marketing conference organized by Edelman, an independant PR agency.
In the interview, Hugh McLeod explains that he opened his blog in May 2001, and that he found it interesting to mash up cartoons and marketing concepts. He also talks about PR within advertising and shares his astonishment concerning the use of the word "blogger". Even if he is the most famous British blogger, he describes his blog in a very modest way: "Blogging is just a cheap and easy way to talk to the world".
