Carhartt Invites You to the e-Demolition of its Website
For the inauguration of its new website, Carhartt is using a fun and creative concept to announce the event: Internet users are able to demolish its previous site! A jackhammer, some dynamite sticks, or a demolition crane are all at your disposal for the virtual demolition of the website. What a great way to let off some steam!

Carhartt is dedicated to creating workwear for the working-class; more specifically, for construction, manufacturing, and farming workers. Thus, the initiative is quite appropriate! See for yourself:
This concept, hardly extraordinary, does give us a chance to try something somewhat original. The concept was inspired by Netdisaster.com, a website that lets you destroy a website (only in appearance, without actually touching the page in question) using a wide range of tools such as missiles, firearms, and even tomatoes!
This concept has already been used in marketing; for example, by the group Atmosphere for the launch of its album ("When Life Gives You Lemon, You Paint That Shit Gold"). Also, on the website "The Good Food Fight" (dedicated to helping EatBetterAmerica.com in its fight against junk food). Clearly, an interesting way to create some buzz…
