ComputerTan is Tan-Tastic

Are you overworked, tired, and pasty? Too busy to head to the tanning booth? Want a quick tanning fix while you work? ComputerTan has heard your cries and is here to help. Check out this informative video, which explains all the advantages of the new computer tanning technology.

You can now head to Computertan.com in order to start tanning. Just click on the image below and you can learn more about this revolutionary new technology.

For those of you who think that this TAN-TASTIC idea isn’t actually possible, good call! In fact, far from being a revolutionary new company, this website is a portal to Skcin, Britain’s skin cancer charity. Clicking on the download button ends up giving you a quick 10 second fake tanning session and some pictures of skin cancer. The page then directs you to your choice of the Skcin website (with loads of skin cancer related information), a page to leave a comment, or a page to hoax your friends with the campaign. This viral element is likely to get the message out to the Brits who are well-known for overexposing themselves to sun once they can finally find some!

This campaign plays on our obsession with “quick fixes” and our unhealthy relationship with tanning in order to get a very important point across.
