Weezer, the UFO of alternative rock, has maintained a very offbeat image since their creation in 1992. These swaggerers make it a point to do away with the muscular arms and tattooed image of of rock music, and they are are creating buzz with their new viral video.

The video, shot for the release of their new album "Raditude", makes fun of this cross between a tartan blanket, a hooded flanelette and a floorcloth we call the Snuggie.

After promising their fans a Weezer Snuggie for months, they finally acted on it. The real effective part of this campaign is that you have the possibility to buy the regular Weezer Snuggie for 30 dollars, or the zebra striped one for 50 dollars on weezer.com.
