James Bond and Coca-Cola Zero, Zero, Seven
The new Coca-Cola Zero commercial made for TV and movie theaters was made in partnership with the producers of “Quantum of Solace,” the newest James Bond film set to open in British theaters on October 31 and US theaters on November 14. The commercial is a true tribute to the James Bond films.
The White Stripes music written specifically for the film, the sexy cars, the beautiful women, and the fluid graphics à la James Bond give a 007 feel to the Coke ad. A perfect remake!
In the words of Coca-Cola’s director: “The campaign combines the drama of James Bond with the essence of Coca-Cola Zero in a stylish and contemporary fashion."
The Coke commercial will be released in 30 countries in parallel with the film’s preview in mid-September.
This campaign brings with it a temporary Coke rebranding. Making a play on James Bond’s well-known code (007), Coke Zero will temporarily be known as Zero Zero 7. Collectors of Coke bottles and James Bond fans will no doubt rush to get their hands on the famous limited edition 007 bottle in celebration of “Quantum of Solace.”

The question remains whether James Bond will renounce his trademark Vodka Martini in favor of a Coke Zero.
