Loewe Sound: You Control the Sound
Beautiful and effective! This commercial was initially created by Loewe Sound for German television, but is currently creating an international viral effect all across the web. We’ve seen plenty of times that a nice video with a simple and impressive concept can have a long Internet run and can reach a much bigger audience than originally expected. This is precisely why uploading TV ads to video sharing platforms should become second nature to agencies and advertisers.
For the moment, the number of video views for this spot isn’t very impressive, but several blogs have already started spreading the word. The video will no doubt rise in popularity in no time.
Loewe Sound is by no means the first brand to use an orchestra for a creative ad. For example, United Airlines created a wonderful ad titled, "Sea Orchestra," which showed the extraordinary side of the airline’s transatlantic flights. Ford made a unique ad by making orchestra instruments out of parts from its new Ford Focus, using professional musicians to make up its orchestra. The musicians played an ode to Ford: Beautifully arranged.
And who can forget the musical TV ad for the Honda Civic, which instead of using an orchestra, used a choir?
