Motorola Enters Facebook Status Updates
The mobile telephone brand Motorola has found a new place to put their advertisements : in Facebook status updates.
As explains David Armano on his Posterous blog, the brand managed to infiltrate the social network by placing its logo in the stream of status updates.
Motorola is very active on Facebook, they even have a fan page to promote their new Motoblur service that allows you to centralize your SMS, email, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter messages in the same inbox. The Motorola logo appears when a user updates their status using Motoblur on a CLIQ phone, creating a nice amount of buzz around the brand.
Will branding soon invade all areas of our lives?
