Save the Animals Christmas Song

It’s true, the world doesn’t seem to be in its best moment: the weather’s bad, the days are almost as short as they can get, and we might be on the verge of an economic meltdown. In spite of the bad news, let’s not forget that it’s the holiday season!!! We will soon be able to forget all our worries and merrily feast on delicious meals and holiday goodies just before ringing in the New Year. The BBC would like to be the first to wish you a happy holiday, or as they say in England, “Happy Christmas.”

With its cute video, the BBC not only wishes its viewers a happy holiday season, but also asks them to help our furry friends. By creatively re-writing the song, the BBC reminds us that while we often think of ourselves at Christmas time, it is also a time of do-gooding for others. The BBC is taking the opportunity to convince us to partake in some animal do-gooding. But what can we do to help our animal friends?

With its dedicated website, the BBC answers all of our questions! The website includes numerous fast, easy, and occasionally adventurous examples of how we can join the animal aid effort.

In other words, you’ve got no excuse for not helping out. Thanks to this exemplary initiative, the BBC, taking advantage of its reputation as a respectable national media outlet, has encouraged us to take care of our furry friends. What’s more, by taking part, you can eat that delicious Christmas ham, Hanukkah brisket, or Eid al-Adha lamb guilt free.
