Skof’s Borderline Talent Contest
Most communicants have a tendency to surf on trends and use previously successful concepts. In this circle, advertisers had redone the JK Wedding Viral Video.
It is the same for the UGC contests created by brands for Internet users. This participative strategy relies on a "consum-actor" philosophy, and is spreading like wildfire across the Web. Capitalizing on the experience and implication of the target is capital, but if this method is used by a plethora of advertisers, it becomes necessary to renew the approach or up the ante on prizes.
In this spirit, the chips brand Skof has created the Borderline Talent contest, which showcases nonsensical, absurd and ridiculous talents. This operation has a great chance of success, as the winner will take the handsome sum of 5,000 Euros, an appearance on TV, and a Skof chips vending machine for the duration of a year. Directed by the Saatchi NZ agency, these promotional videos surprise you and make you want to film your own silly "talents"...
No matter if simply impossible...
... or outright original...
...this is borderline creativity!
