Social networks: are they an ephemeral trend or the most notable revolution since the invention of mass media?

The explosive evolution of social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn, the success of microblogging platforms like Twitter, interconnection in all places and at all times, the change in consumer behavior... In a globalized world that is more and more dominated by technology, people feel the need more than ever to belong to communities and maintain social relationships. Paradoxically, it is this same advanced technology that allows them to do just that. Will this spiral continue turning? We have yet to see what the future holds. For the moment, we ascertain that social media creates new possibilities to a large number of people across the world, and that people do not hesitate to adopt these tools. Companies, governments and agencies need to adapt to this new situation.

All this social media is very interesting and very hard to determine where it is heading but you have to be in it so you don’t miss the boat! Very interesting article and video.
