The AXE Effect: Sexy Ads From Indonesia
Each country has its own traditions and culture. And a person’s behavior can cause different reactions in different countries. Which means, in order to become a successful pick up artist, you need to be familiar with local customs.
AXE seems like it wants to reflect these customs in its commercials. For example, in Indonesia, if you want to get someone’s number, it’s wouldn’t be a bad idea to use these commercials as a guide:
Sex is everywhere. In magazines, on TV broadcasts, in books and in films. Sex appears in all types of advertisements for everything from food to art. Sex appeal is an effective tool. If used appropriately, it can catch people’s attention and make them remember a product. However, if overused, sex appeal can have the exact opposite effect. Not only can its message be unwelcome but it can also offend viewers. I like these AXE commercials because they strike a good balance and are quite amusing.
Warning: unlike in the commercials, the product has no filtering function based on your personal preferences. Don’t expect to attract only perfect tens.
