The New York Times Immersion
Ever watched kids play video games? Pretty interesting sociological study, right? Why not make a video of them playing video games? The New York Times Magazine and Robbie Cooper show us how desensitized children are to violent video games. Times sure have changed, haven’t they?
While it’s true that this initiative isn’t exactly new, this particular Robbie Cooper video is nicely done and helps remind us of what life is like for our younger generations. Today’s kids, practically born with a digital chip, are growing up in an entirely different environment from us. It’s no secret that from a young age, these kids are practically glued to their TV screens and immersed in video games.
If the previous video worried you, I’ve got another one that is sure to make you say, “please God, don’t let my children be like this one.”
