The Sun Tears a Page Out of iPhone’s Playbook
UK rag The Sun tries drawing tech-savvy eyes back to printed news, using a campaign that uses iPhone’s design/simplicity ad format against it.
The so-called Sun Version 4.0, a play on its 40-year print run, boasts the following features:
- 26-inch panoramic matt CMYK full colour display and photo-reel 3D graphics
- Easy readability without reception, without contracts and without having to turn it sideways
- Games come free!
A tongue-in-cheek "There’s an app for that" variant appears below.
