Viralcom: Internet Viral Video Producer
Of course you’ve heard about what happens if you mix Mentos with Coca-Cola. You’ve probably even tried doing it! And more than likely you’ve seen a video of it on YouTube. But did you ever wonder if there wasn’t more behind those videos than simple curiosity?
Are the most-watched viral videos the creation of private individuals or are they just part of a genuine business? The Viralcom production team takes you backstage and into the action of the filming of viral videos. After watching a Viralcom episode, you’ll never watch a Buzz video in quite the same way.
There are already 10 Viralcom episodes up and running on Joey and David’s website, which is putting this duo right on their way to being “almost famous,” as they like to say. In each, the childhood friends, Joey and David, use their natural humor to cut apart the most well-known viral videos on the web, while integrating them directly into their episode as if they were created from scratch, well thought-out, and elaborately directed. Watch and see how the first episode plunges us straight into the creation of one of the Mentos and Coka-Cola videos. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
The second episode is done in the same fashion. Watch here:
You can find the other episodes on Joey and David’s website. In fact, each Wednesday, since mid-April, the duo has been uploading a new episode. It certainly is a nice break from the norm that really makes us step back a bit and think about the concept of viral videos. Thank you, Joey and David!
