YouTube L!ve during prime time

And the countdown begins! YouTube, the world’s largest video platform, has just announced that it will hold a live concert on November 22. The concert’s line-up includes: Akon, Will.i.am, Planet B-Boy, and several others.

The line-up is a mix of professionals and amateurs, but all the artists have helped create buzz about YouTube at the same time that the platform has helped the artists get their names out to an international public. What a perfect win-win situation for YouTube and those lucky enough to be invited to the platform’s first live online concert.

The giant has created the YouTube L!ve channel for the occasion… let’s see if YouTube develops this idea even further and comes up with the Web’s first live channel. Not a bad idea, if I do say so myself.
