A Musical Jail Choreography (Philippines)

The buzz of the moment comes from the Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Centre in Cebu on the Philippines, with the video on YouTube already having been viewed more than two million times.

It was the prison guard Byron Garcia who had the idea: He thought that the prisoners ought to stay fit and decided to teach them to dance. As the result was exceptional he wanted to share it with other prison staff members and posted a video on YouTube. From there the word spread beyond jail bars and a real hype around the dancing prisoners came up.

These are of course happy about their success and are regularly kept up to date about the video’s score on YouTube.
