Apple Reinvents Advertising on the Web
Apple has always been at the forefront of marketing. Even the most fervent Mac opponents admit that. The brand is one of the few brands worldwide who can create spontaneous buzz via its huge fan community alone.
Since 2006, the brand with the apple symbol has regularly been seeding its spots "Get A Mac" on the web. In these viral ads a Mac and a PC, both personified, each try to convince the other that he is the better model. And Mac always wins…
A few days ago Apple has gone one step further in its communication on the web. Still true to the spirit of derision of the “Get A Mac" ads, Apple now occupies both the side banner and the top banner, which for the first time interact with each other. And very foresightedly Apple has reserved this series of banners on pages talking about Windows… A top-notch campaign, while Microsoft is offering those who are disappointed by Vista to return to XP free of charge. This campaign will surely go down in the history of the web.
