Cadbury’s Goo the Egg Campaign
As Easter is nearing, it’s no wonder that Cadbury Creme Eggs are coming up with cute advertising tactics. The UK chocolate company has recently launched an alternative billboard campaign at bus stops across London. It’s part of their Goo campaign. Now, back to the creative billboards by Saatchi & Saatchi in London. Ever stuck standing and waiting for a bus in complete boredom? It’s a daily reality for many Londoners and Cadbury and Saatchi & Saatchi have come to the rescue with their Goo the Egg touch screen bus shelter game. The game lets passers-by "goo" as many eggs as they can while they wait for the bus. For those lucky enough to be at the stop with friends and family, they can compete to beat each other’s scores. This interactive bus shelter game provides a unique and memorable experience for London bus passengers (and observant pedestrians). And the above viral video helps spread the word and gets consumers thinking about the gooey Easter yumminess. While the British are able to enjoy the crème eggs all year round, we US consumers have until early April to get our year’s supply in! Here today, goo tomorrow!
