Cherry Coke and Myspace Cooperate for Viral Marketing

Coca launches a new viral action to create buzz, this time in cooperation with MySpace.

The brand has created a dedicated page on Myspace from which you can download goodies: wallpapers, music and videos.

To complete this classic action and to assure even more virality the brand offers a competition. The rules are simple; you just have to customise your MySpace page in the colours of Cherry Coke.

This means a double benefit for the partners as Coca-Cola profits from free publicity on thousands of MySpace pages and the MySpace community grows thanks to new inscriptions.

The brand already has a network of 40000 "friends" and the page offers several interactive modules like the forum or the blog. Up to now the community’s reactions seem to be positive but they also have to adopt the content…
