With a campaign called Sugar Streak, Canadian firm Koodo Mobile invites would-be clients on an exhausting hunt to capture the mythic Gingerbread Man.
The videos are a rip off ye olde Choose Your Own Adventure novels — in which you "interact" with a story by making decisions that affect the course of the narrative. (This model has since been appropriated by such earnest brands as Saab UK, Twix and even the London Metropolitan Police Service.)
In the case of Koodo, we warn you: you’ll need at least 6 minutes and a serious grudge against gingerbread in order to make it through this lengthy journey. Watch your back because yes, you may die, and the Gingerbread Man is packin’ unexpected tools — like poisoned darts.
