Dirty sexy money: Alpha & Expo (Russia)

 
 

In marketing, you don’t necessarily need to have a link between your product and the messages portrayed in your commercials. Russian banks are on the track to prove the reputation of Dirty Sexy Money. The new commercial for Alfa Bank shows how carefully and thoughtfully the bank takes care of its clients:

Maybe it’s just me being conservative, maybe it just pertains to peoples perceptions surrounding Russianmoney. Earlier this year, Expoband made a calendar starring its own young employees (half naked) – they were aged between 20 and 33 – (the calendar was made for the companies VIP clients).

An Expobank spokeswoman said: "We wanted to make a pleasant surprise for our clients. We wanted them to know that it’s not only professionals working with them but also beautiful women."

One of the employee-turned-models, Yulia Babenko, added: "It was one of our directors who offered us the chance to take part in the photo shoot. It was an interesting new experience for us and we all like the calendar. The photographer let us help create the images of ourselves."

Hmmm… I think I would prefer... to not create any image of the sort! Especially if its sole purpose is to provide a "pleasant surprise" for our VIP clients. If and when i decide to become an escort, then maybe we can talk about it. The one thing i can say, is that these Russian banks have successfully motivated me to hit the gym, summer is right around the corner.
