Dove’s Imaginary Amy
A few days ago, Dove, the brand with the many adverts, launched a new video to promote its own fund, the "Dove Self Esteem Fund".
The video, short and impressive, features two young people. One of them is Amy, but we don’t get to see her at all because she lacks self-esteem to such an extent that she does not have the courage to leave the house.
The little scene is well-done and promotes the Dove Self Esteem Fund, as did some previous videos which have also been shown on television:
The Dove fund has also an own, extensive blog, complete with an interactive area for self-esteem for all girls. You can find statements, questionnaires to find out your own level of self-esteem, forums and loads of modules to help girls feel good just the way they are.
In short, a 360° campaign to raise awareness of an important problem and to support all girls suffering from low self-esteem.
