Emma je t’aime? (France)
"Emma je t’aime, Reviens" ("Emma, I love you, come back") – this recently launched ambitious campaign is one you should not miss. The concept is simple and poetic. A mysterious young man declares his love for a certain Emma, in all possible ways (press, radio, projections in the streets and even on a fake blog).
This street marketing action reminds us of the actions we have conducted for Sony and our campaign Don’t Walk Alone ;) The rumour mill has already gone into overdrive, trying to find out who is the advertiser behind this campaign. For the time being Jean-Paul Gaultier (JPG) is making the grade (because all messages are signed by “Paul”; some have gone very far to prove this hypothesis).
This interesting iniative is creating a lot of buzz, the buzzing phase having successfully kicked off some days ago. There was even an article in today’s Le Parisien. It’s just a pity that the “blog” which is supposed to be at the heart of the campaign lacks content and is for the rest not really a blog (comments are not possible for example). That is a bit disappointing, especially as it does not maintain the curiosity kindled by the rest of the campaign… we are eagerly waiting for the revelation!
