Expense-a-Steak Saves Crisis Victims from Vice Cutbacks

One of the toughest things about this crisis is finding a way to maintain the same flagrantly unearned standard of living on your boss’s dime. Thankfully, there’s an app for that.
To bring more business lunch to its corporate-tailored steakhouse, Maloney & Porcelli brings us Expense-a-Steak. Pop in the total for the lavish meal you just vacuumed with your face, and Expense-a-Steak spits out a downloadable PDF of innocuous, pre-wrinkled receipts (think toner, paperclips, panini) totaling that much:

Turn them in and consider that maverick ribeye expensed. When people start migrating in search of your stockpile of Glue Sticks, just act natural and find another alibi. (Same principle for when the IRS comes knocking.)
Expense-a-Steak is available as a free app for iPhone or over internets. Work by New York-based Walrus, which initially released the app with a capability for downloading take-out bags from Sbarro, Olive Garden and other crisis-friendly establishments — before the cease-and-desist letters came.
