Flossie Invents the Man Vending Machine

 
 

Many stores promise us that they have "everything we need." "Everything you need" lost its meaning a long time ago, in my opinion. What does "everything I need" mean? Do advertisers even know what I really need?

To show that it has something for every woman, Flossie.com created a Man Vending Machine – the world’s first – in Auckland, New Zealand. Flossie.com is a website that claims that “everything you need is on Flossie.” The website’s categories: Fashion, Beauty, Entertainment, Living, Career+Money, Sex+Dating, Health+Well-being, Parenting, and Competitions… sounds like pretty much everything, right? While I need few more things than that, I do love Flossie.com’s new street marketing campaign, done by TBWA\Whybin.

Never seen a Man Vending Machine? If you’re not from Auckland, then probably not. Maybe you’ve dreamt about it, though. Well, dream no longer...Flossie.com has made your dream come true.

Flossie’s Man Vending Machine is exactly what it promises to be, no fine print. Flossie’s doesn’t give you a man’s picture or recommend you eat a pint of Ben&Jerry´s chocolate fudge ice cream to heal your broken heart. Flossie created a big vending machine, packed full of real, live, single men (and a few vibrators) to satisfy women of all ages. In total, Flossie selected 10 men (2 for each of their 5 men flavors) to go out with those Auckland girls daring enough to pull them out of a vending machine.

The mechanism was very easy. All the girls had to do was push the button with her man flavor (foreign, romantic, rich, action, classic, perfect) and voilà...a man came out of the machine. Unless she chose Mr. Perfect, in which case she got herself a free vibrator. Check out what happened below!

Unfortunately, all I can get from vending machines in Paris is a chocolate bar. If I’m lucky, I might get two, but never a MAN.
