France24 - A News Channel Goes Live

As part of the new international news channel’s official launch set for December 6th, France 24 has invited a select group of 12 of the world’s most influential bloggers (Rocketboom, Luca Conti, Robert Basic...) to an exclusive sneak-preview of the channel just a few days before its launch.

The bloggers will get the chance to schmooze in Paris with 40-some French bloggers on the evening of Saturday, December 2nd while celebrating the launch of this giant international news network.

This event clearly shows that France 24 sees the importance of cultural diversity, the web, and in particular, the blogosphere.

Alongside this event, another initiative was carried out with a hundred or so international bloggers who were able to access exclusive information (videos, announcements, broadcasts…) before the channel officially debuted.
