Friends of the Earth: The sticky poster (Hong Kong)
Once again, a creative, "ambient advertisement" in Hong Kong generates a lot of online buzz and press coverage.

“The poster is blank with a clear coating over the headline and visual. Over time, dust and dirty particles on the street get stuck on the poster; gradually revealing the message. In doing so, we let polluted air speak for itself.”
As simple as this: by presenting a gradually changing process (instead of a static image), this poster easily attracts the attention of people walking by. Similar applications of this can be found here, here and here). The idea of letting the problem speak for itself has made its message extraordinarily powerful.
Creative, fascinating and simple, this should serve as a reference to the potential power of, and inspiration for future ambient ads. Looking forward to more!
