So just how far could viral marketing go? This funny SlateV video shows us. In the short video, Goodbye Mary, Marc explains to his 3-month girlfriend Mary that their relationship was a guerilla marketing tactic. He had been hired to date her and to create buzz by dumping her on a video that would be posted on YouTube! The aim being to promote a movie about a bitter woman, a character Mary could now relate to!
