Head & Shoulders, Knees & Toes Battles Sclerosis

We all know the song “Head and shoulders, knees and toes.” Personally, I can’t even read it’s name without singing it in my head! That’s why the ALS Society of Canada, an organization dedicated to aiding people who suffer from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, has decided to use the song in its new ad. The ad can’t help but touch our emotions, and the use of the song and the way it is sung is key to its success.

The goal of the ad is to show how ALS affects the lives of people suffering from the disease. In case you want to place a face with ALS, this is the disease that the renowned physicist Stephen Hawkings has been suffering from since his college years.

This video is, without a doubt, depressing, but it is well-done and touching and we wish the ALS Society of Canada all the best in its efforts.
