Hollywood Says: Please Don’t Vote

There is less than one month left until what has been called “the most important election of your life.” Are you ready? Are you registered? Are you planning on heading to the polls and voting? As we told you a few weeks ago, several organizations are working hard to get youth registered and to the polls (read here). We mentioned the work that Declare Yourself is doing, teaming up with Hollywood celebrities, to get young voters to participate in this election. Declare Yourself has created a poster and video campaign on its website, where it also directs you to websites where you can register to vote online. Has it ever been so easy?

The “Hollywood Declares Themselves” viral video is so viral that the celebrities even ask you to send it to 5 of your friends so that it, in the words of Sarah Silverman, “it becomes rampant like herpes, but for positive.” As you’ll see, time is running out to register to vote. In some states, the deadline was October 4th! Hope you didn’t miss it!
