Mercedes on the Road to Prevention

Nowadays cars possess all kinds of systems to assist drivers such as anti-lock braking systems, inbuilt electronics or GPS. But even though the latest car models feature headlights which intently follow the course of the road, driving by night will always remain dangerous.

The German company Mercedes has equipped its E-class with a night vision system allowing for better view at night. To illustrate the advantages of this system, intelligent billboards were put up at highly frequented and dangerous roads like the B73 in Germany.

On these billboards a night vision camera gave drivers a perfectly clear view of the road even in the middle of the night. A great idea which successfully combines the advantages of a product that is part of the standard equipment of the Mercedes e-class with enhanced road safety for everyone at night.
