Norton 360 Turns to Consumer Generated Media

To promote the launch of Norton 360, Symantec presents a new form of its international photo contest. This time the contest is about different emoticons and the emotions they express and which you can feel when using your computer (the first contest was about animals, people, sport…).

The principle is simple: you take a photo of yourself or a member of your family, make sure it expresses one of the five emoticons’ emotions (joy, sadness, wonder, rage or complicity) and post it on the competition’s website.

The prices are worth considering, as the best photo wins 10,000 dollars and the best photo of each category 1,000 dollars each. Also, all the participants win a coupon worth a 15% reduction on Norton 360 or Norton Save and Restore.

The contest has already begun and will end on October 15, so hurry up if you want to post a photo.
