"Try drugs:" The government launches a new viral site (Norway)
The Norwegian government has just published a viral application to prevent the use of the three best known drugs (marihuana, coke and heroin). A mini-site playing rather aptly on visual and sound effects. In contrast, the navigation is far from optimal.
As comments Blastblog, the website trydrugs.net is not optimized for internet users using Mac or Firefox.
Imitating the Danish government, which had used a similar campaign for road safety (see culture-buzz article ), this Northern European government has chosen an alternative solution to get their message across. A creative and offbeat approach, although the French government still has not got the knack of it...
