Warner Bros Launches New Buzz for "The Dark Knight"
A new buzz we definitely don’t want to miss… Warner Bros have dug out an especially original procedure for generating word-of-mouth about the eagerly awaited last Batman film “The Dark Knight" scheduled to come to cinemas on July 18, 2008!
It all begins with a website: On it there is… nothing. Well, not exactly nothing, just the famous emblem of the masked bat.

When you click on it, another window opens, displaying this image:

Harvey Dent turns out to be one of the main characters in the next film.
Then, a pop-up opens, showing us the same image, sullied by Joker, Batman’s arch enemy:

The scene has been set. Now you just have to enter your address in order to receive an e-mail providing you with a link and some data. This link allows you to have a look at yet another image based on the one of the pop-up site.
The smart thing about this? You can only take part once and the link allows you to take off only one pixel from the new image, so you need to encourage people to participate to discover who or what is hiding behind the measure.

A well conducted viral action that has already generated reactions on the internet.
