La Tribune goes viral (France)
The French journal La Tribune was looking for a way to promote its new online format and chose to communicate via an original and highly elaborate video produced by Publicis Conseil. More videos will follow, we just need a little patience.
The videos can be viewed on most video sharing sites. See for yourself:
The video shows the day of a businessman who can not escape the daily news. They follow him anywhere and at any time: “receive the news in real time”. Accompanied by an adapted media plan, the video is published on websites having to do with news and business. It is also placed on different portals. I actually find it quite refreshing to see a “serious” newspaper communicate in such a relaxed way…
LaTribune.fr also called upon BuzzParadise to spread the action by including bloggers. These will have the possibility to publish an editorial on the first page of LaTribune.fr. 20 of them will do so and communicate their opinion. After the series of editorials the bloggers will meet the newspapers editorial staff to exchange opinions about the function of bloggers and editors.
A humorous sequence that creates curiosity was chosen for the banner to be adopted: “For the rest of the menu, go to Latribune.fr".
We really appreciate La Tribune’s choice of humour and offbeat commitment as well as its will to open itself to the parallel universe of blogs.
