The Superman Returns Advergame

Warner Bros. has called on Vanksen/Culture-Buzz to advertise its Superman Return DVD release on January 12, 2007. And so to help the online campaign take flight we have developed a viral game that answers the prayers of super hero fans. The idea is simple: you are Superman himself and have to prove your courage in order to pass through 3 levels and finally meet Lois Lane. Following the Superman saga spirit, points are merit-based. The more risks you take the more points you get (see the screen shot below). And what’s more, you can play as many times as it takes (up to January 31, 2007) to make it to the Top 10. Plus, you can get extra points by spreading the word to your friends. The reward? 10 collector’s edition DVDs for the 10 Supermen with the most points.

In a parallel campaign, BuzzParadise (a platform which brings together BuzzAngels and brands) has invited 40 bloggers to preview the collector’s edition.
There is even a banner available to bloggers who want to spread the word about the DVD release.
